Captain & Vice-Captain Strategy

Your captain scores 2× and your vice-captain 1.5×, so these two picks move your total more than any others. For NEW vs CRY, the two questions to answer before the lock:

Captain (2×)

Back the player with the most routes to points. A goal pays 40 for a forward, 50 for a midfielder and 60 for a defender or goalkeeper, and an assist adds 20 — so a set-piece threat from deeper can outscore a striker.

Vice-Captain (1.5×)

Hedge your captain. If your captain is an attacker, consider a goalkeeper or defender from the side more likely to keep a clean sheet (+20 for 55+ minutes), so one scoreline cannot sink both picks.
